Since the coronavirus has us staying home so much, I’ve had lots of time to reflect with deep, meaningful thoughts, such as how grateful I am for my family and our health, how blessed I am to be able to stay home with Lily while Kevin is able to keep working from home…and that I really want to redo my crochet leg warmers.
I loved how my leg warmers looked, but since they had no elastic, I had to safety-pin them to my leggings to keep them from falling down, and they just weren’t comfy! I searched for another video tutorial that had what I was looking for and didn’t find much. So I took some time to figure it out, and voila! Here’s my video showing exactly how to do it.
They are so simple…mostly just DC (double crochet). I didn’t want any sort of fancy stitch — I just let the yarn colors make the design. This is the tutorial I wish I had when I made my first pair.
I hope that if you’re hunkered down at home and looking for a fun & simple crochet project, that this is something you can enjoy. And keep dancing, whether you take that metaphorically or literally.
