Right now, the 90s and Y2K are trending, so I thought it was the perfect time to finish my Britney paper doll! I actually started it 10+ years ago as just a fun project for myself, but I decided to add it as a printable download for my Etsy shop (link at top of this page). The doll has 6 different outfits (all with different hairdos), all inspired by Britney’s iconic looks. She’s not only a superstar; she’s a fashion icon too!
When I was in high school, I remember when I hopped in my little purple car, drove myself to a store and bought Britney’s self-titled album with money I earned from my barista job at Barnes & Noble Cafe. That was 2001, back when there were physical CDs. I think being a teenager is beyond difficult, and that album helped me feel so happy and free with all the challenges I faced. I have been a fan for as long as I can remember and I’m so relieved that following the Free Britney Movement, she appears to have her freedom back.
As a thank you for stopping by this blog, I’ve added a FREE bonus outfit right here, inspired by her starring role in the movie Crossroads.
I would like to be clear that this is all just inspired by Britney, so it isn’t official/licensed. However, if Britney herself ends up finding this, I would like to say I LOVE YOU BRITNEY, I support you along with all your other fans, and if you love this and would like to make it an official paper doll for your brand, I would be honored and delighted!
What’s your favorite Britney outfit? Is it one of these or something else? Let me know with a comment!
