My daughter’s fascination with Mira from K-Pop Demon Hunters continues, and I thought would be fun to make a butterfly norigae like the one Mira wears with her yellow skirt. I expected it would be pretty challenging, but having already learned how to make the Chrysanthemum Knot for the bracelet, I was pleasantly surprised to discover the Butterfly is made the same way, just with 2 extra knots to begin (for the wings).
The second knot (just like with the bracelet) is the Clover Knot which I always found to be the most difficult, but I finally figured out exactly how it works and am happy with the way I was able to explain it in this video.
I thought for the longest time that Mira’s hair is red, but it’s pink. Do you think her norigae is also pink? Or is it actually red? I made a pink one and a red one too, just in case.
