One day as my daughter (AKA Lily Sparkle from Lily Sparkle’s Crafting Area) was watching drawing tutorials on YouTube Kids, I told her she should make her own how-to-draw video. She immediately agreed and wanted to draw Mira, her favorite K-Pop Demon Hunter. So I got to sketching and we made a video!
We did it in one take, and afterwards I realized some things we should’ve done, like…
– Tape down our paper so it doesn’t move around
– Try a different camera angle and larger markers
– Maybe cheat a little and start with faint dot marks on my paper so I get the lines right!
But mostly I think it turned out pretty great. I had trouble drawing from an angle different from my usual, so my picture didn’t turn out as well as my original sketch, but the directions are still good. You can also hear our dog walking around, but there’s not much I can do about that…
