Beaded Daisy Chain DIY

daisy chain DIY

When I was a little girl, I loved beading lots of daisy chain bracelets with my big sister for our friends. The technique is very simple and well-known:

I have my own version that’s a bit more grown-up and intricate in design. I made bracelets for my niece, my mom, and 4 of my female friends, because you’re never too old for friendship bracelets, if you ask me.

If you’re like me and have no bead shop nearby, a great way to get beads is to just buy cheap jewelry that has the beads you want. I do it all the time and it’s often cheaper and works just as well, if not better.

This is a really great design to try different colors with. The chain can be green like stems/leaves, or more whimsical like teal or pink! I did black centers to look like poppies, and alternated the petal colors to give it a little more interest. The possibilities are endless and it makes a wonderful gift.
